- Delivery & Return
Delivery
We deliver by truck throughout Europe. Delivery time depends on the destination country; we agree the date with you before delivery.
We deliver up to a paved unloading point that the truck can reach. Our driver unloads with the truck-mounted forklift and places the goods as close as possible to your storage spot.
Collection from our depot by appointment once the order has been paid and prepared.
Larger quantities can also be delivered in partial deliveries by arrangement.
Business customers in other EU countries: for a VAT-exempt intra-community supply we need a valid VAT ID and a confirmation of arrival (Gelangensbestätigung).
Returns and withdrawal
As a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason.
Tell us about your withdrawal by e-mail, by post or with the withdrawal function in the shop. We collect the goods from you and bear the cost of returning them.
Please keep the wood dry until it is collected. Compensation may be due for wood already used or for loss of value caused by improper storage.
We refund the purchase price including standard delivery costs no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back.
Please show any transport damage or missing quantities to the driver on delivery and report them to us. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Premium firewood, dried naturally – in a practical pallet format, with no subscription and no commitment. The straightforward way to a worry-free winter.
Heat with wood and feel good about it
- 100 % naturally dried: no drying kiln, no gas – just wind and sun. Residual moisture 23 % at most.
- 95 % hardwood: oak, beech, hornbeam, ash … plus about 5 % softwood to help with lighting.
- Our pledge: one tree is planted for every pallet sold.
The truth about industrially “dried” wood
Much of today’s firewood is dried in kilns heated with gas or wood, which uses extra energy. At PalettenHolz, wind and sun do this work. It takes longer, but needs none of that extra drying energy.
From our own business
We are not a multinational but a business based in Germany with one clear aim: to deliver patiently dried, high-performance firewood while supporting the local economy.
Right up to your storage spot
Our driver uses the truck-mounted forklift to set the pallet down as close as possible to where you store your wood, so there is hardly anything left for you to carry.

Using the packaging wisely
Your safety and the environment matter to us. Here is how to use the packaging sensibly:
- The wood: very dry, for a strong and clean fire.
- The wooden frame: the light, untreated frame around the logs can be taken apart and makes excellent kindling – a small bonus.
- The pallet – caution! the pallet underneath is treated against moisture. Never burn it in a fireplace or stove: it releases toxic substances, and only natural, untreated wood may be burned in stoves. Take the pallet to a recycling centre.
- The cover: the protective sheet is 100 % recyclable.
Large quantities: from 3 pallets, or for business customers, we are happy to prepare an individual offer with a volume price and coordinated delivery. Request a quote →
